Gusto ko sana mag program as a hobby at nakita ko na madami na gumagamit nang Rust, gusto ko lang malaman kung ok ba sya.

I've tried Rust. It's ok. It's a differenr way of doing the same and new things. My issue with Rust is there's less job opportunities as of now (at least in my area). Maybe in the future it will be the number 1 language (not sure).

I remember reading an article where the main issue with Rust is less developer and business adoption than ideal. It makes sense because if you are a Java shop, do you risk relearning a new language for the whole team or continue with Java and make business money?

Javascript ka nalang muna. Bago palang kasi ang Rust language. Pero ikaw kung gusto mo talaga, why not.
