Mass testing doesn't mean all Filipinos should be tested. There's a separate term for that. Universal or general testing. Mass testing is synonymous with extensive testing. There is no definite definition yung mass testing, I mean everyone can actually have a meaning for that. Pero kahit sa ibang bansa naman, they were unable to do live massive testing talaga.

Gets ko ng DOH, kahit na yung S.Korea nagkaroon nang mass test at sa una na control nila yung spread tapos nag ease sila nang rules pero bigla ulit lumubo yung infected same sa Singapore.

Yung mass testing po ay pwedeng randomized or targeted. Mali po ang connotation that mass testing ay gagawin sa 100% ng population. Kukuha lang po dapat ng randomized or targeted samplings sa maliit na porsiyento ng population gaya ng ginawa sa SK, Iceland, etc..
Again this is not a perfect science. But this method is being used by epidemiologist to ascertain the extent and a clearer picture of the spread of the virus.

No one said that mass testing means 100% of the population. That will be impossible and stupid as well because it will be such a waste of resources.

They are talking about S.Korea, kung saan pwede ka mag pa swab test kung gusto mo through boots and drive thru.

Iceland tested 11% of its population and b/c of this they control the virus and flatten the curve by the govt's rapid response and programs, plus the data the they've gathered are now being studied and analyzed by scientists, doctors, etc.

Iceland is a unique country, they are isolated and have frigid climate. Also isa sila sa mga mayamang country sa mundo.

Agreed. Pero ang importante yung matutunan natin sa mga hakbangin na ginawa nila. Yung govt's response, yung info dissemination at yung support ng citizens. IMO We can't rely solely on the DOH b/c of duque's late reaction and weak handling of the situation.

I will not say his actions are the best pero for me he did well enough considering ung resources na meron tayo at ung knowledge regarding sa sakit. Ayoko lang ung issue ng politics sa kanya regarding VIP treatment sa mga politiko regarding swabbing. But apart from that ok naman sya.

Ayaw nila gayahin yung method nang Taiwan kasi nga alam mo na at totoo na parang sadya yung mabagal na response ni Doque, isang proof na yun ay yung hindi agad-agad na pag certify nang testing lab nang Marikina nung naging viral na sa internet at saka pa pinuntahan nang DOH.

I think kaya nacontain ng Taiwan kasi nag ban agad sila ng taga mainland China nung pumutok ung Covid. It's easier for them to do that considering yung political rivalry ng dalawa lalo na sa usaping 1-China policy. Pero tama kayo, efforts were fine but it could've been better.
