PHI've been scouring the web on finding ways to increase the speed of my internet. No problem with the upload speed, but download speed sucks at its best speed of 0.5 Mbps between peak hours - speed can get up to 20 Mbps between 11 pm - 6 am.
After reading blogs, post and articles, I learned that we can further speed up and stabilize our internet speeds by properly setting up the DNS and Cell ID Locking.
Anyone who can share some tricks/firmware that will allow us to do this? I read about PUTTY, but my work laptop has locked admin options and won't allow me to install such applications.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
- NO problem with tweaking LTE Bands 1, 3, 5, 28, 40, and 41
- Found the best spot at home to put my modem
- APN is properly set for best load times
