Una i-check mo kung detected ang network interface(s) mo:

ip link

Then check kung may IP address at default gateway at resolver:

ip address

ip route

cat /etc/resolv.conf

Kung wala, determine kung ano ang network agent mo, ie NetworkManager, netplan (Ubuntu), traditional /etc/network/interfaces (Debian) etc. Then configure them such that it can connect to your WiFi by supplying correct password etc.
