Hi everyone is it possible for an individual to be expert in programming?

Pwede niyo ba ma share yung journey niyo in becoming who you are right now. (What I mean yung expert na kayo sa programming).

I learned a programming language few years ago then I got a job not related in programming for years.
Right now I got an offer as a programmer ughh I really don't know if I should pursue it. My laptop just got busted so I cannot practice programming. I am not confident really.

BTW I just got hired for that position.

Hindi ako expert pero may kilala ako, kahit hindi mo naman tandaan ang lahat ng function dahil may google naman. Ang kailangan mo lang alamin yung logic at papaano mo gagawin yung flowchart(if required).

Yep, as long as alam mo logic tulad nung pagkakasabi ni kuys sa taas ko. Plus points kung natatandaan mo lahat ng function/calls/etc dahil less hassle at di mo na kailangan mag research. Malawak ang saklaw ng programming kaya wag magmadali. Paisa-isa lang.

Yes. All of the programming experts you see are all individuals. Most of these individuals become expert because of hard work, a lot of trial and errors, a lot of reading, mentorship, and actual work experience. Of course you can't deny some of them are probably more talented than other experts. But they are all experts.

I suggest you focus on one programming language for a year. Learn the ins and outs. Create a project based on that language. Once you have a good grasp of that language, try another language for a year. Rinse and repeat.
