🎓 Academic Is it legal for teachers to ask for a fine for being late?

I don't think it's ethical unless the money received by the teacher is put to good use such as donating it for a cause, and if the students have E×ρréššed their agreement to such regulation/policy. Otherwise, it can be seen as an abuse of power for personal gain.

- first of all pano ba nag start? it is by teacher decision? then complain to principal or dean. it is by class decision where you are part of the decision making? then you need to participate.
- i understand there is always a reason to be late. pero why not change when others can be early at class? there is always a solution and having a fine is somehow a positive training for you to change.

Bawal yan sa public school pero sa private depende sa rules nila. May mga private school talaga na may multa pag nalelate ang studyante.
