hindi namang mali na pag tuonang pansin yung mga maliliit na bagay lalo na sa senado, pero dapat mas pinagtutuonan ng pansin ang ating mga magsasaka. nakakalungkot lang.

ang problema kasi napakamahal ng bigas dito saten, unlike sa ibang bansa, kaya mas praktikal na mag import nalang, tutal mas maraming makikinabang sa mababang presyo.
Minsan kelangan nating tanggapin ang katotohanan kahit masalimuot ito, UNLESS the government will take over and be the sole buyer of grains/palay, process it, and get it to the marketplace. thus, eliminating yung patong-patong na tubo mula sa mga middleman resulting to an unacceptable price locally.
I also prefer na government na rin ang maging sole lender sa mga magsasaka para makabili ng binhi at abono, since malaki ang pinapatong na mga nagpapautang-normally 5:6.

end note: there's a lot to be done but no one is yet to do something and we can share our thoughts about this over and over, but sharing thoughts alone is useless since this problem needs a concrete solution/action.

no, they deserve to be treated better, to be acknowledged and given more importance. they contribute a large amount to our country's GDP and economy. we should take advantage of our resources and skills in this department as it would surely benefit us in the long run. I just wish that our elected public servants can give the proper amount of support that our farmers need

yun nga ang masakit eh, ang mahal ng bigas pero ang mura ng palay. sa amin nasa 11 pesos per kilo lang ng palay samantalang nasa 40 - 50 ang presyo ng bigas. dahil yung mga buying station dun mga harang kaya yun sana ang makita ng pamahalaan., iniipit nila ang mga palay hanggang sa tumaas pero kawawa ang mga farmers dahil yun din lang nman ang kabuhayan nila kelangan nilang ibenta or else di na mababayaran yung utang na ginamit sa pagsasaka.

yes, they should utilize their influence as a platform to advocate for matters such as this. sayang ang resources natin pati na rin ang skills ng farmers natin dahil hindi ito nagagamit to its fullest potential dahil sa kakulangan ng suporta mula sa gobyerno-- mga public servants na siyang dapat nangungunang ipaglaban ang competitiveness ng ating farmers. imagine if we were as competitive and competent as our neighboring countries in terms of agriculture, then mas mumura siguro ang presyo ng bigas satin dahil hindi na natin kakailanganing mag import from other countries at pwede pa tayo mag export.

Exactly ma'am, only those who has a palay buying station ang nakikinabang, sa maniwala ka man mam dun sa amin parang kabute ang mga budega na ang lalaki pa na pag mamay ari ng mga taiwanese halos dikit dikit pa, kaya kung d mapipigilin after 20 years baka wla ng mapagbentahan ng palay.
