Yung mismong title na po yung tanong ko , ang hirap po kase nag include po ako ng #include <dos.h> para gumamit ng delay kaso pag naglalagay na ko ng value eg. delay[2000] lumalabas na yung error nya kapag kino compile ko na , ano po kayang solution dito okay naman po sa dev c++ kaso yung project namin kaylangan sa turbo C++ ipapasa . Looks like 'delay' variable is declared as an array. Pero you did not specify what sort of data type it is, ie char, int, long or whatever such as below:

int delay[2000];
char delay[2000];
 
Halimbawa ko lang yun kung paano i-declare yung variable. Mage-error talaga pag copy-paste mo. Di pwede magka-parehas name ng variable, sa C at least.

Ano ba yung data type ng array mo?
 
As per FreeAll, it looks like that that is actually a function within your compiler. Hindi mo kasi gaano maayos yung problem description, like what exactly you want to achieve? Do you want 2000 chars, 2000 ints, or a time delay?

By the way, hindi ba pwede gumamit ng mas modern compiler like gcc o clang o visual studio?

okay na po sir mali lang po pala gamit ko imbis na open and close paretheses , bracket yung ginamit ko
