Guys ano purpose ng Apt get update ? pag nag apt get update ba ako for example naka kali2019.1 ako tapos pag nag apt get update ako magging kali2019.2 na sya ? mag uupdate sya into latest kali version ? thanks in advance guys

Apt get update, running this command in terminal will only check the available version for Installed application, you should run apt get upgrade if you want to upgrade the system or application
