will backup if able to retrieve data

Have you already tried to backup data with something like ClonDisk or Acronis or something like that ? If not please take it to the specialist from the hardware shop anyway. I do understand it's hard task but you can try something there really in town.

acronis / clondisk is very sensitive to badsector detection and will make the cloning progress to a halt.
copy and paste does the trick most of the time .

pero ok na man may nag magandang loob tumingin nung drive . P500 peso lang singinl nya. para nilinis nya lang ung board sa ilalim tapos after ilang minutes working good na ulit ung unit...
katakot kasi talaga.. kasi ung singil ng mga data recovery center for checkup is 500 then iba pa ung actual fee sa pag nag procees sa recovery or repair w/c cost 3000 to 15000 ... nakakaloko.. pero mahal pala talaga
