🔒 Closed Good news! First-time jobseekers need not worry about paying for government documents just to complete their job application requirements.

President Rodrigo Duterte signed on April 10 a law that exempts first-time jobseekers from paying fees and charges for the following documents issued by the government:

• Barangay clearance
• Birth certificate
• Marriage certificate
• Medical certificate from a public hospital
• National Bureau of Investigation clearance
• Police Clearance Certificate
• Tax Identification Number
• Transcript of academic records issued by state colleges and universities
• Unified Multi-Purpose ID
• Other documentary requirements issued by the government that may be required by employers from job applicants
