I called them yesterday. So I asked with getting a new account as I will be leaving my internet here in the province, for my dad's consumption.
Right now, they just confirmed that they recently just received a memo for the additional requirements, sort of an upgrade in the online application process. This is on top of the TIN and requiring of at least 2 valid IDs, certificate of employment and a data privacy form to be signed personally. Additional 600 peso for the first month. And they have reiterated that payments should be ρáíd on or before due date, OTHERWISE we'll be "disconnected and kailangan po itawag sa csr for manual verification" as per the lady. Take note this can be a possible way to track high data usage. IDK po.
? Also, there has been an upgrade with their surfalert (could this be the reason why we are receiving different notifications) so I suggest to monitor your SAO. Based from what I am seeing they also patched this bug on their system regarding GTM no laod.
So in order to keep our connection safe, I suggest we keep it as discreet as possible.
