In regards to your concern, make sure that you and your referral follow the promo mechanics correctly. Make sure that they used your own referral code or the link you sent to them.
Promo mechanics:
***Invite a Friend to GCash
Instead of referring a friend through the GCash referral code, a GCash user can use their new referral link to invite friends to GCash.
A user can use and re-use the same link when referring anyone to GCash, and can receive benefits for users who register using their invite friend link.
*** Register to GCash Using Link
Instead of using a person’s 6-character referral code, a user can now click on the sharing link and immediately sign up to GCash without downloading the GCash App.
*** Guidelines
To refer a friend using the new invite friend feature, a user must go through the Invite Friends feature in the latest GCash App.
User must have the latest version of the GCash App to enjoy this feature. (5.9.x)[EC1]
User must share their unique referral link through any of the available channels (SMS, Facebook, etc.). The availability of channels may depend on the user’s mobile phone.
A user can share their referral code as many times as possible.
*** To register using the new invite friend feature, a user must click the invite friend link.
A user may complete their registration process through the link, but must download the GCash App after registration to enjoy the features/services of GCash.
The same MSISDN can only be registered to GCash once.
*** Referral Get P50 Promo:
An existing user may receive P50 for referring a friend to GCash using the new invite friends feature, with a maximum of up to 25 friends referred per month.
A new user may use the “invite friends” link to register to GCash and receive P50 within 5 days after their first registration and login using the GCash App. The registration must be completed on the new registration page from the “invite friends” link.
A single individual may only register one GCash account. Subsequent GCash account registrations using the “invite friends” feature will not be honored.
Registrations with referral are subject to validation. Rewards may be withheld on suspicion of fraud.
