RPG game: Ys Origin English Edition (v1.1)

The gameplay is very similar to the previous installment, The Oath in Felghana. The major difference is the inclusion of three different playable characters, each with their own story, style of combat and skills. The length of the game is slightly shorter than previous installments and is more linear, likely to bring more focus to the action and to accommodate playing the game with all three characters.

Visually, the gameplay takes place in areas presented in 3D graphics. Character, monster and minor bosses are animated using pre-rendered 3D sprites. Larger bosses are presented using full 3D models. As befits the fast pace of the gameplay, the fantastic soundtrack is shred-happy, melody-driven rock, and it works exceptionally well.
