"Contract is not the beginning of society but the end of it." -Hewey Maine

ano po ba yung explanation about dito salamat po sa makakasagot

once you entered and bind into a contract you already lose your rights and need to abide with the norms of society and surrender yourself completely and unconditionally. charot hehe

In a perfect world the social contract is good.
However we live in a very imperfect world where society norms constrict our personalities and the way we live. And the contract that supposedly binds us all together has become the weapon that unscrupulous people wield to make us bow down to their will.
When this happens, the contract we entered into becomes our prison.

Or something like that. Charr...

"Contract is not the beginning of society but the end of it."

Let us look the meaning of society as an "aggregate of people interacting with each other, interacting with each other where there ideas are all combine to build a common goal. However, the dominant ones build their own rules, which then violate the meaning of society where 'working together as whole', what works here now is the dominant group (e.g. business contract) that made people to obey without any questioning, and that destroys society.

in a perfect world kasi, may presumption of good will and fair treatment ang isat-isa sa society. kung baga, hindi na kailangan pag usapan kung ano ang rights and obligations ng bawat party. walang gulangan.
