set your lan to static 192.168.1.5
then its default subnet mask!
HOW TO CHANGE STATIC IP:
isaksak mo modem mo sa computer. tapos punta ka sa control panel, then internet connection, then network and sharing center, then local area connection, then click mo yong properties, then select internet protocol (IPv4) then select propertis ulit, then mampapakita na "obtain an IP" select mo is "use the following ip" ilagay mo ngaung (192.168.1.5) then press (tab) then ok ok ok..

HOW TO ENABLE TELNET:
To enable Telnet command line utilities:
1)Click Start > Control Panel.
2)Click Programs and Features.
3)Click Turn Windows features on or off.
4)In the Windows Features dialog box, check the Telnet Client check box.
5)Click OK. The system installs the appropriate files. This will take a few seconds to a minute.
go to cmd then enter.telnet 192.168.1.1.

para bumalik ung log in GUI (192.168.254.254) uninstall mo ung local area connection then install mo ulit para maka log in kana as 192.168.254.254 tapos reset muna dun makikita sa SYSTEM then done
