For me, using a physical book is more effective as I'm easily distracted by devices around me when studying. If I use an e-book whether it's on pc or mobile device where the internet is one tap/click away, most probably I'd just play games, watch videos, and do stuff unrelated to the book.

Anyway, that's just me. I lack discipline so I prefer the physical books. Also I enjoy writing and highlighting and feel like I remember things more when I do that so yeah, that's all.

lots of pros and cons right. like ebooks you can bring thousand of them on a single device. while books does not need batteries to operate.

That's cool. Additional question. If the book is cheaper being an e-book. will you still buy the physical book? let's say 50% cheaper?

Well it depends to how do discipline you are. I guess you both use of them by combining it as your advantage. As a power of technology right now is really good thing, By using it will find some advance info or simple ways to solve it etc. Again if you are on focus to achieve your goal there is no kind of distraction can stop you.

so you meant to say in your opinion you can learn efficiently on both the physical book and e-book? and everything is based on your discipline?

Add in question. what are your distractions?

Yup, in the end it comes down to your personal preference.

Considering both options are easily accessible, highly available, and not too expensive, I'd probably buy the physical one. :)

personal preference lang... mas gusto ko sa physical book...
ewan ko ba... mas madali ako matuto at magbasa pag nakakahawak ako ng tangible na libro...
pag ebook... naboboring akong magbasa...
ewan ko ba... :) parang -patay- yung libro pag digital e... ganun feeling ko...
korni no? :)

Well yes, it is base on my experience, distraction are the likes of lovelife, peers activity (not related to study activity), the environment also, influence of gadgets, social media (except important matters) and yourself also (the ultimate thing). A strict discipline will do, go to other countries like japan, germany, etc. They love the education, so to speak their progress so enormous as one of the top minds in the world.

I see. I know what you mean about those distraction except for the "lovelife" part since on my end I use it as an inspiration. but who am I to judge. to each his own :D Thanks for the answer.

Depends on whether you really want to learn. If you ask me, it's easier for me to learn if I really want to read "it". Otherwise, I would be more easily distracted. But I agree with Poopy and moon241983 'tho.

That's quite true. maybe the real answer to this is. it's not about how you will learn. it's how persistent and devoted you are to learning.

It's okay if you loved physical books. and it's your opinion I won't judge you for that. I have friends who buys their kids physical books than e-books. (or watching movies) they claimed that having physical books make it easier for kids to learn.

That's true. but with all honesty. I don't like reading books.. I only read comic books.. anything with characters in them aside from pure words. --- graduated college without buying a single book.
