Using my Wifi Catcher to Send Wifi Signals instead..

Question I have, If I had my desktop set up so that its using all the programs (ultrasurf and others ect...) for a free surfing experience, when sending an Adhoc signal from my desktop using a wifi catcher to actually send signal to my laptop shareing my internet using a zte mf667 broadband stick, do I need to also run the programs on the laptop as well? I was figured all internet data went threw my desktop prior to being sent out to any devices. I guess my thought is, My dt is acting like a filter tho until now I still have to buy load everyother day.. Uggh.. anyone want to put some input on this type of set up.. Thanks
