heto, hiram ko sa mga fine artists (or mga pintor)....PERO TOTOO ito (my own experience too). Ito ang logic nila.

1) You need to LOVE PAINTING...in order to make GOOD PAINTINGS.
2) It's HARD to make GOOD PAINTINGS, if your primary main goal is to MAKE MONEY out of your paintings (for selling).
3) Make good paintings, MONEY will follow.

2) If you love problem solving, YOU HAVE THE DRIVE TO Learn programming
3) Since you love problem solving, IT DOES NOT MATTER how hard it is. You want to learn it anyway.
4) Dahil mahal na mahal mo at nag e-enjoy ka sa programming, IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU MAKE MONEY OUT OF IT or NOT.
5) BE GOOD AT PROGRAMMING..... money or job will follow.

In my case, I learned programming thru examples...although I learned from my college professors, but for me you can learn more thru examples... Be sure to practice also in your free tym. Kailangan magaling ka mag-imagine... Kung magiging master kana, wag ka mayabang hehehe...
