How do you bypass the speed throttled of the modem
What type of VPN are you talking about?maybe VPN would do .
It's a modem, it has the globe sim provided by the isp, it's quite throttled. One way to bypass throttling is to use regular load, if you have a strong LTE signal (if not then it is not that much affordable). You will be able to do so when you don't have any data promo and SurfAlert is off. Every 5 pesos gives you 15 minute internet access. For bulk downloads, you should be able download at least 1-2 or maybe more Gigabytes of data during the 15 minute duration (if you are downloading from high speed download sources). Make sure to prepare first whatever you will download using any download manager (IDM, etc.) then pause download (if not paused). After connecting, resume your paused download. If download is not finished in 15 minutes and you still have Php 5.00 or more load, you can stay connected to finish it. You should be able to save more load than when you register their "unlimited" data promos with FUP. That said, it is not a way to bypass speed throttling of an already throttled sim for that day (not sure).
tl;dr: Use regular load instead of promo if purpose is for download. No vpn needed.
lol sorry. Already posted that wall of text and I didn't read between the lines. What I actually posted is for prepaid users and if I'm not wrong maybe yours is postpaid. I am a prepaid user I never had any experience in postpaid. Try your luck waiting for replies from more experienced people. It's a modem, it has the globe sim provided by the isp, it's quite throttled.
