How to Root Your Android Phone
For Samsung J1 Mini Prime Only and Tested
Disclaimer: Root at your own Risk!!!. This may Break your phone seriously and always check if OEM unlock ticked or colored blue. If you break your phone I’m not to be sued or held liable.
But I can still help you with that just in case.
Procedures
1. Enable Developer Options on your Phone.
Go to ; Settings > About device > Software info > and Tap
”Build Number” 7 times or until it say’s “Developer options Enabled”
2. On “Developer options” Tap “OEM unlock” and “USB debugging”
3. On “Lock Screen and Security” Tap “Unknown sources” this will enable you to install apps outside google play.
4. Obtain the Following Files. Odin3 v3.10.7, SM-J105B TWRP and SUPERSU_v276 (you can update this later). Links are Below
5. Download Drivers for your Samsung J1 Mini Prime. You can easily find it on Google.com for updated version and install it.
6. Turn off your mobile phone and enter download mode. To enter Press and hold together the “Volume Down” button ‘’Home” button and “Power” button for 5secs then Release all at once. See youtube for these tutorials.
7. Open “Odin3 v3.10.7.exe” file you downloaded earlier, Make sure your data cable is connected to your computer.
8. On Odin Click “Options” and Uncheck “Auto Reboot” and on the right corner Click “AP” and locate “SM-J105B_TWRP” then open.
9. Click start at Oden and make sure it says PASS.
10. Copy the “SUPERSU_v276” file to your phones “external_sd”
11. Remove your phone from your computer and turn it off.
12. Enter “Recovery” by pressing together “Volume Up” button ‘’Home” button and “Power” button for 5secs then Release all at once. See youtube for these tutorials.
13. Tap “Install” > “Storage” > “external_sd” > ok > locate and tap the said file you copied and “Swipe to Confirm Flash”
14. If all is well. Reboot your phone and Discover its Ultimate Powers as you have become the Administrator of your Phone.
