I just want to make a comment not to bash anyone here..Just want to give info in case you do not know.

I understand those negative comments about shadowsocks for online games..Maybe because of your experiences using shadowsocks and your frustration too when trying to play games online.

But the truth is, there are shadowsocks for online games. In fact it is widely used all over the world especially by Chinese in which it originated. Shadowsocks is very popular like VPN. For example, game players use shadowsocks for their Overwatch gameplay.

While it is true that most of the shadowsocks we have tried, failed in online games whether it came from known VPS provider, like DO or Vül†r, etc., but it is because of the setup configuration installed when it was created. Mostly of the shadowsocks servers were just created simply just to bypass censorship. But if you try to set it up comprehensively, then you can and be able to use it and utilize the capacity of your server and be able to use it for online gameplay. Any techie or coder knows about it. But you need also to choose a high speed VPS but I know it is so costly.

Again my point is, there are Shadowsocks that is capable for online games.

Why I say this? Because I owned a VPS before for my Openvpn and shadowsocks and experienced using it last year until I stopped playing games and focus on something worth. I still play games in my vacant time.

So if you want to play online games, find a high speed shadowsocks server or buy a high speed VPS. I saw someone posted a high speed shadowsocks server here. I tried it and yes it works in online games. I don't know if that server is still working because it was publicly shared.

That's all guys. Keep exploring. Open your mind of the possibilities. Do not let your experience hinder you of growing in the world of internet.

marami kasing mga basher agad instead na mag suppord nag fefeeling pa na magaling at maraming alam eh nag se share lang naman ng mga nakulimat na ss account at gagawan ng .prx ako / kami yung iba gumagastos para lang sa vps para lang may ipang share. pero walay crab mentality ang umuusbong sa inyo

Sir matagal na pwedeng gamitin sa online games. Ang problema lang yung app dapat may global mode. Para maka bypass. Kaya di magamit ng karamihan dahil puro postern ang gamit nyo. Walang global mode ang postern at walang plano yung gumawa nyang postern si weiwang na iupdate yan sa global mode. Ang problema sa shadowsocksX is single config lang pwede. At tama yung isang comment na kailangan mo lang ng mabilis na vps kaya mag play ng video 1080 no buff. Simple lang ang kasagutan dyan. Bili ka vps convert mo sa ss then ikaw lang gumamit o max 10. Gagastos ka oo eh gusto mo pang games eh. Ang mga nakukuha mong free nodes na gumagana sa online games ay public nodes kaya nga isang game lang kaya sa ML tapos close app and reopen ka ulit dahil public node lang gamit mo pero kung naka ss ka na designed for gaming walang putol sir marami pong nagpprovide ng gaming nodes pero walang naka public. Naka bili ako sa ssgamer ng 85 yuan or 600php 3 months na yun walang putol sa games basta sundin mo yung guide nila. Kung ayaw gumastos at may utak simple lang source code ng postern at shadowsocks. Yung isa kaya mag multiple account yung isa may global mode at yung isa may dns forwarding na para di madc sa online games isipin nyo na lang ano yung pangatlong app na may dns forwading. Eh diba másáráp pag sama samahin tapos gumawa ng app diba? Ang problema dito share ka inaabuso naman. Kaya ako sayo TS kung private vps yan tunaw yan torrent pa lang dito. Mali ka naman din sir sabihan mo yung isa na pafamous agad. Saka private (binabayaran) yang vps ni ts shinare pa satin imbes na pasalamatan nyo puro kayo daldal itry nyo kalikutin nyo sa sarili nyo. Nakakahiya naman sa mga public nodes na sinishare natin dito. Dapat mga ganitong tao yung pinapasalamatan nyo tulad dati nagpost na nga yung bata ng private account nya tinira pa wala man lang akong nabasang nagpasalamat. Kung hindi nakapag provide ng proof o sample hindi nya na kasalanan yun ikaw mag share ka sa pulubi tapos sabihin sayo wtf ito lang bigay mo? Ano matutuwa ka?
