Okay so nag-research keme lang ako. Gan'to kasi.
Minsan kasi kahit peak hours, bumababa ng halos 80% yung internet connection.
Nagtaka ako kung bakit, kasi biglaan nalang lagi nangyayari. Nakakainis.
Ta's after mga ilang weeks, na-notice ko na nangyayari siya kapag binubuksan ng mga magulang ko yung TV(naka-antenna lang kami wala kaming cable hahahha).
Ta's nagsearch ako ng mga kemerut kay Google. Ayun, may mga reference pala na pwede itong maka-interfere sa wifi connection mo XD Medyo malapit kasi yung hotspot ko sa tv kaya ayun.
So my conclusion is YES, it will not kill your wifi signal/connection but it will interfere with it since i think it that it has the same frequencies with mobile hotspots/pocket wifi. Mapapansin mo kasi talaga yung pagbagal lalo na kung 3G-capable lang hotspot mo ;-;

PS: I think the article is talking about modems/routers, which is different from mobile hotspots/pocket wifi.
PPS: I am talking about TETHERING the internet connection, not the internet connection itself.
