We'd already talked about this excellent Mega Man X fangame, but its developer just released version 1.01.0 that's particularly impressive!
On the agenda:
ZERO BECOMES PLAYABLE! Unlockable after completing the game, with the ability to switch between X and Zero on the fly!
A new complete alternative soundtrack, remixed in the PlayStation style!
4 new graphical filters and a 4:3 display mode.
Performance optimizations, level improvements, gameplay adjustments, and numerous fixes.
And still native versions for Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android!
Having personally played the game before this update, I can tell you: we're at the quality level of a commercial Mega Man! It's not just a nice little fangame; it's a real game that could perfectly fit into the official series.
And when you see the colossal work that's still being done on it, it's downright impressive!
