Sonic Dream Team is a 3D platform game from SEGA, originally released on December 5, 2023, as an exclusive title for the Apple Arcade subscription service. Developed by Hardlight, the game stands out for bringing a high-quality experience very similar to Sonic console games directly to mobile devices.
The story takes place shortly after the events of Sonic Frontiers and is part of the official canon of the franchise.
• Eggman's plan: The villain discovers an ancient relic called The Reverie (or Ravy), an artifact capable of transforming dreams into reality.
• The evil plan: Since the device only works for those with a pure heart, Eggman kidnaps Cream the Rabbit to use her as a filter and manifest his nightmares in the real world.
• The mission: Sonic and his allies enter the dream world to rescue Cream and help Ariem, the guardian of the artifact, recover the dream fragments before the real world is affected.
