Don’t let the size fool you!

The Golden Poison Frog is only about 2 inches (5 cm) long—roughly the size of a paperclip.
Yet, a single wild frog carries enough batrachotoxin in its skin to take down 10 ãdül† humans or up to 20,000 mice. Indigenous hunters in Colombia have used its secretions for centuries to tip their blowgun darts, and the poison can remain lethal on a dart tip for over a year.
