The Great Barrier Reef is so large that it can be seen from space. Yet it wasn't built by humans or giant creatures—it was created by billions of tiny coral polyps. Each polyp is only a few millimeters wide, but together they built a reef stretching over 2,300 kilometers.
The reef supports thousands of species of fish, turtles, sharks, and other marine life. It took millions of years to form. Tiny animals created one of the greatest natural wonders on Earth.
