YumaPlayer v1.2.0-Beta.4 — OUT NOW!

A solid stability and cleanup update. Most of the heavy lifting this week was under the hood to untangle legacy code, but there are plenty of noticeable improvements for everyday use too! ️

What’s New:

Spotify Queues & Playback
• Instant Queue Start: Huge playlists and mixes now start playing immediately — first tracks preload right away while the rest fills in quietly in the background.
• Smoother Queues: No more dropped tracks during long listening sessions or deep scrolling in Liked Songs.
• No Unwanted Radio: Disabled redundant YouTube auto-radio firing up over your Spotify queues.
• Heads up: Due to background parsing, skipping rapidly might have a brief delay — give it a moment to catch up. A few rough edges might still pop up as refactoring continues!

Interactive Particle Splash Screen
• Fresh launch animation with particles, shockwaves, and a clean UI reveal on cold start (full Light & Dark mode support).
• Don't like animations? Turn it off anytime via: Settings → Appearance → Splash Animation.

️ UI Smoothness & Responsiveness
• Ditched the micro-stutters: scrolling through Charts, Moods/Genres, and long track lists is buttery smooth now.
• Library, Mixes, and playlist screens pop open much faster.

Direct In-App Updates (GMS-Edition only / Fixed!)
• APK downloads from GitHub no longer fail halfway through — grab and install updates directly inside the app with zero hassle.
• The update screen now bypasses stale cache to fetch the latest version immediately.

Known Issues (Work in Progress):
• Track Matching: On Spotify tracks, it might occasionally resolve to a cover or a slightly off version on YouTube.
• Spotify Home Playlists: Some shortcuts from the home feed may open incorrect playlists.
Both are tied to deep legacy dependencies that are currently being rewritten for the next builds!

Good to Know (FAQ & Limitations):
• Spotify Playlists & Editing: You cannot create, edit, or add songs to Spotify playlists directly from the app right now. Manage your playlists in Spotify, and they will sync to Yuma.
• Search Engine: Global search currently queries YouTube Music's database, not Spotify's catalog directly.
• Batch Downloading: Mass downloading of entire playlists/libraries is not supported. Songs can only be downloaded individually.
• Slow Loading / Buffering: Depending on your region or ISP (restrictions/throttling), initial stream resolution might take a few seconds. If a track stalls, give it a moment or check your VPN/DNS.
