
Pickleball is growing rapidly in the Philippines, but its appeal is extending beyond the court. New facilities are combining pickleball with dining, social spaces, memberships, events, and other lifestyle experiences.
In Cebu, one pickleball club reportedly processed more than 2,300 bookings within just a few months of using a local booking platform.
This shows how recreational sports can become social destinations rather than places people visit only to exercise. The growth is also creating opportunities for sports technology, food and beverage businesses, and community events.
For many players, the attraction is as much about meeting people as it is about competition.
