Vodafone TV mpd sept26

Hi!

Is there any way to get keys without access to the platform? For example, getting the mpd and url license aren't enough? or do you need direct url to the stream?
I believe you need access to the channel, because you need to intercept the key from the server into your memory

sometimes yes, the mpd URL and the licence URL is enough.

But sometimes you need an authorizetion token in the settings of your (python-)tool to make this.
And this authorizetion token valids not a long time or only once.

See for an example You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.

Yes, if the url is tokenized, you need a subscription to generate the token.

But, in the case you don't need it or you don't have any subscription, how can you get the url streams or the license link? For me it has been impossible by now.

no, simpliTV and Joyn Stream work with the Stream URL without token.
But you need a token in the settings of your (phyton-)tool.
Sometimes you become this token from a trailer video of the service (like Magentasport)

The links I posted in my post are a tool you can make KID:KEY with only Stream URL and Licence URL.
webtv.sk is such a service you can make KID:KEY an there is no token

I'll check it.

C:\<path to your python 3.12>\python.exe C:\<path to T00LK1D-WidePlay-main>main.py --license-url "You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now." -m You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now. -s bitmovin

And you can see, no token in the Stream URL

And the .wvd File, there are many good documention on the internet where you can see that you can make such a file with Android Studio

do you have an ".wvd CDM file"
Without this file the pyhton script is without function and you got an error message

Not yet. I'm newbie in this matter. I know that you can get it using android studio SDK, so right now I'm trying to learn all I can find on the net.
For example, I have a lot of doubts about getting license and streams url's, that is the reason 'cause I answered about it.

You're posts are very useful.

This is very interesting.

How do you get that request url? When I access the license URL, I don't get a token or those headers either.
This is usually quite simple using the Chrome or Firefox developer tools (though I find Firefox a bit trickier).
You can easily spot the license URL because it contains "widevine" or "wdv," (Joyn have drm plus ksm, i don't know why) or because it appears right after the first initial stream URL (e.g., https://example.com/stream.mpd, Joyn have cenc-default.m3u8 or cenc-default.mpd).
Often, multiple license URLs appear; in such cases, always use the last one.
See here from the Joyn Pro7 Stream:
Chrome_1.webp

The license URL consists of a Headers, Payload, and Preview.
You will find everything you need in the Headers for the service PY File.
Scroll down until you see "Request headers" and :method POST.
And as I said, always use the last license URL (usually the third one), because the initial ones often don't yet contain everything needed for decryption.

The Preview looks like this, so you can be certain that this is the license URL.

Thanks fot the detailed explanation.

But, can you tell me the url that you are using to get that? That is what I don't understand.
I mean, I need the url stream, right? or using mpd url I can get the license one?
