A major update to AI video generation focused on giving creators more control throughout the creative process.

Here’s what’s new:
→ Extend scenes: Analyze up to 10 seconds of previous video context and extend videos in 10-second increments, up to 40 seconds total.
→ First and last frames: Set the starting and ending frames, and Gemini generates a continuous video between them.
→ Draft faster in 360p: Generate lightweight previews up to 60% faster and at one-third the cost of standard 720p generation.
→ Upscale to 4K: Generate high-resolution 1080p or 4K video outputs.
→ Add video references: Use up to 3 seconds of reference video to help maintain visual context and character consistency.
Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash is rolling out through the Gemini API in Google AI Studio and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform API.
It’s also available globally in Google Flow for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers, with scene extension available in the Gemini app.
