The mood is comedic rather than grim, but bad accusations have serious consequences: ejecting an innocent sailor creates another ghost and puts the surviving crew in even deeper trouble. Every session thrives on arguments, alliances, and the kind of confident lies that make party games memorable.

Each day begins with the captain selecting a team, after which chosen pirates decide whether to follow orders or quietly sabotage the plan. Once the expedition ends, everyone debates the evidence and votes a suspect overboard; correctly removing a ghost helps the living, while a mistaken execution spreads the supernatural threat. Eliminated players do not sit idle, instead returning as stowaways with a chance to manipulate the group and regain standing by steering suspicion toward someone else. Classic matches focus on the central ghost hunt, while Scored games add private goals and coin rewards, and Trait games give players hidden rule-bending powers that complicate every read.

More than sixty possible daily events keep familiar deduction tactics from becoming too reliable, sending crews through unusual scenarios such as island excursions or time-bending detours. Match settings allow groups to adjust length, starting ghost numbers, event selection, and other rules, making it easy to run either a quick warm-up round or a longer evening of accusations. Cosmetic coins unlock pìrâ†é clothing and ship customization, adding a small progression layer without distracting from the social play. Its strongest feature is accessibility: one owner can host while friends join through a browser on computers or mobile devices, making it an excellent pick for fans of Among Us, Secret Hitler, or casual local party games who want less twitch reflex and more conversation.
