Lyric & Chord Builder – Portable Songwriting Tool

Lyric & Chord Builder is an independently developed portable Windows application created primarily for writing, developing, and organizing song lyrics, with additional chord-generation, chord-prediction, playback, and song-analysis tools to help support the songwriting process.

Listen to generated or edited chords to get an idea of how a progression may sound.

Playback is intended as a reference and songwriting aid only. The included sounds are not intended to replace a DAW, professional instruments, or dedicated music-composition software.

SONG ANALYSIS
• Load an existing audio track for analysis
• Estimate tempo, key and chord information
• Extract/transcribe lyrics
• View and edit detected chord timelines
• Apply chord suggestions to your lyric workspace

IMPORTANT: Chords are predictions.
Automatically generated or detected chords may not always match the original song perfectly. Results should be treated as suggestions and starting points and can be manually corrected or adjusted.

SONGWRITING CONTROLS
Choose options such as:
• Genre
• Mood
• Musical key
• Tempo/BPM
• Time signature
• Difficulty level

PORTABLE WINDOWS APP
No traditional installation is required. Extract the application and run it from its folder.

PLEASE READ BEFORE EXTRACTING

Because Lyric & Chord Builder is an independently developed application and may not be digitally signed by a widely recognized publisher, Windows SmartScreen or other Windows security warnings may appear.

After downloading the ZIP:

1. Right-click the downloaded ZIP file.
2. Select Properties.
3. If Windows displays an Unblock option near the bottom, check Unblock and click Apply / OK.
4. Extract the ZIP file. WinRAR is recommended, although another compatible ZIP extraction program may also be used.
5. Open the extracted folder and run the application.

Windows may still display a SmartScreen notice when launching software from an independent developer. Review the publisher/file information and proceed only if the file came from the download source you trust.

OFFLINE FRIENDLY
Core lyric-writing and chord tools can work without an online AI service. Optional AI/API features can be configured for additional capabilities.

Additional features include user preferences, appearance/theme options, AI provider settings, sound controls, project Save/Open, export options, and a built-in Help Center.

WHAT THIS APP IS DESIGNED FOR

Lyric & Chord Builder is primarily a lyrics-building and songwriting-assistance application.

The chord generator, chord analysis and playback features are included to provide musical ideas, references and guidance while developing lyrics. It is not intended to be a professional sound-production, arrangement, or full music-composition application.
