FREE Windows App – 9Pixel Chord Studio

I built this app because I simply wanted to extract chords from songs without paying for another subscription.

So instead of paying for a tool, I decided to build my own tool.

After using it myself, I thought there might be other musicians, singers, worship teams, content creators, and hobbyists who are looking for something similar.

So I'm sharing it completely FREE.

A quick note
No app can detect 100% of every chord, especially with complex jazz harmonies, heavily layered arrangements, or unusual voicings.

However, it does a good job of giving you a solid chord progression, and from there you can quickly adjust or edit the chords yourself. For me, that's much faster than starting from a blank page.


Windows Security Notice

Because I'm an independent developer and don't have a ρáíd code-signing certificate, Windows may show an "Unknown Publisher" or Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warning the first time you run the app.

That's expected for unsigned applications.

The app does not install anything permanently on your computer. It's a portable application that you can delete anytime.

Before you download​

This is a free personal project that I'm sharing with the community.
Because of that:

• The first run may install a few required Python components if they aren't already on your PC.
• If Windows or Microsoft Defender shows an "Unknown Publisher" warning, that's expected because I don't have a commercial code-signing certificate.
• Everything you need is included in the package, along with step-by-step instructions.
• If you run into any issues during setup, just send me a message and I'll be happy to help.

Just right click the run_app.bat and run as administrator.

I hope it helps someone else the way it's helping me.
