Prayoridad pa rin ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang mga flood control project sa bansa.
Ayon kay Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon, may nakalaang pondo sa 2027 para sa pagpapatupad ng mga flood mitigation at flood control masterplan.
