If several keys on your keyring look almost identical, add a small dot of different-colored nail polish near the top of each key.
Create a simple color system—for example, one color for the front door and another for a cabinet or gate.
Keep the polish away from the teeth and working parts of the key.
It makes the correct key recognizable before you even try putting it into the lock.
