In Southern Africa, the borders of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia come so close together that you can travel between them in just a few minutes. The Kazungula Bridge connects Zambia and Botswana at a point where the countries nearly touch.
This unusual border arrangement is one of the rarest in the world. It has fascinated geographers for decades. Very few places on Earth have such a unique international boundary. It feels like crossing several countries almost at once.
