I wanted to share a personal project that I've been building over the past few months called MICLY.
It's a free web-based karaoke application that lets you turn your TV, laptop, or monitor into a karaoke system while everyone controls the song queue using their own phones.

What is MICLY?
MICLY is a modern karaoke party platform that uses the YouTube Embedded Player together with the YouTube Data API to help users discover publicly available karaoke videos and enjoy synchronized karaoke sessions with friends and family.
The goal is to make karaoke parties easier—no more fighting over the TV remote or interrupting the current singer just to search for the next song.

How It Works
1. Open MICLY on your TV or laptop.
2. Create a karaoke room.
3. Share the Room Code or QR Code.
4. Friends join using their phones.
5. Everyone searches and queues songs while the current singer continues performing.
No need to pass around the remote.
