Hi everyone,

not true. Cat5E will happily do gigabit up to 100 meters. in fact, Cat6E is not even officially specified. cable manufacturers add their own take on their "enhancements" to the Cat6 spec to make something supposedly better, and called it Cat6E. it's NOT as good as Cat6A, which is properly specified.

Cat6 is should be your default.

OP, as mentioned above... check mo specs ng LAN ports ng router mo. kung FE ports lang meron ito, maski ginintuang kable gamitin mo, 100 Mbps lang ang aabutin mo. sa totoo lang, 100 Mbps wired can be (perhaps even usually) better than 300 Mbps WiFi sa totoong use case. especially in situations where there are lots of wireless clients, or congested airspace (marami kang nakikitang SSID from where you are).
