Adobe Photoshop 2026 (27.0) functions as the current Windows version of the global photo editing standard which Adobe launched in October 2025. The update delivers Dynamic Text layouts together with AVIF/JPEG XL support and cloud-powered Select Subject & Background Removal and stability improvements through an improved editing interface.

Dynamic Text automatically adjusts its size and layout and text arrangement within bounding boxes to create responsive designs.
The cloud-based Select Subject and Remove Background tool now provides better edge detection for intricate images through Firefly AI.
The software supports both AVIF and JPEG XL formats which enable users to open edit and save HDR images with contemporary compression methods.
The June release primarily includes Dynamic Text system functionality together with new file formats and generative AI improvements.
