Y YouEye Fanatic Oct 15, 2025 #2 Most laptops let you hide it, but not replace it. Enter BIOS/UEFI Restart your laptop. Press the BIOS key repeatedly (usually F2, F10, DEL, or ESC) when you see the logo. (It might say “Press F2 to enter Setup”) Find Boot or Startup Settings Look for something like: Boot Logo Display Full Screen Logo Display Show OEM Logo Disable It Set it to Disabled or Off. Save changes (F10) and restart. You’ll now see either a black screen or the motherboard’s default text-based POST info instead of the logo. If you want to change the logo (not just hide it): This is risky and only recommended for advanced users. Incorrect flashing can brick your laptop. Click to expand... You would need to: Extract the BIOS firmware (using a tool like Universal BIOS Toolkit or UEFITool). Replace the image file (usually in BMP format) inside the BIOS using a tool like: AMI ChangeLogo (for AMI BIOS) InsydeH2O BIOS Editor (for Insyde BIOS) Repack and reflash the BIOS using the official flashing tool (or AFUWIN, FPT, etc., depending on brand). This can void your warranty or brick the laptop if done wrong. Upvote 0 Downvote
