What Google AI Plus Offers
The plan is positioned between Google’s free tier and its premium Pro and Ultra options, offering substantial features at a lower cost. Key benefits include:
- Higher allowances for AI image generation and editing through Gemini (Nano Banana model)
- More access to Google's Veo 3 Fast video generation model in the Gemini app
- Enhanced functionality in Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Vids)
- Higher limits in NotebookLM research and writing assistant
- 200GB of combined storage across Gmail, Drive, and Photos
- 200 monthly AI credits for video/image creation in tools like Whisk and Flow
- Option to share benefits with up to five family members.

The rollout is targeting regions with high interest in accessible AI but traditionally limited options for premium tech subscriptions. Pricing is adapted for local purchasing power and varies by country, making AI Plus a budget-friendly entry point compared to higher-cost premium plans.
