❓ Help GCASH ISSUE Cant open

The latest GCash app (v5.91.0:1071) downloaded/updated via the Google Play Store opens & works for me now.

My phone: POCO X6 Pro 5G (locked bootloader, non-rooted)

Ayun lang, unlocked BL ko so 5.90 muna gagamitin ko

Open developers option tapos turn off mo OEM Unlocking tapos restart

Update: Nabubuksan ko Gcash sa rooted phone ko naka custom ROM pa.

Look for the lower/older version GCash APK v5.90.0:1062.

Download and install then test if it opens/loads successfully on your phone.

i dont see any apk version of v5.90.. do you have a link

NOTE: may problem ang gcash version 5.91.0 BETTER IDOWNGRADE MO ANG VERSION TO 5.89.0 (NO ISSUE)

Is your phone's bootloader unlocked?
Is it rooted?

Grabe kase gcash, tas sumabay pa si google dahil diyan sa safety net na yan.

The first solution that solved this problem for me was to revert to the previous version, 5.90.0:1062. Luckily I had a backup APK copy and it made GCash accessible to me again.

Na fix ko yung ganito ko via, Turn on Developer Option then Turn off yung OEM UNLOCKING then turn off again Developer Option tapos RESTART phone yun na open GCash

I also stumbled upon the same comment in another post while I was still on v5.90.

I tried it since I've got nothing to lose anyway.

1. Enabled Developer options first, then turned it ON.
2. Scrolled to "OEM unlocking" then toggled it OFF.

3. Turned OFF Developer options (an automatic prompt appeared that the device will need to restart for the changes to take effect).
4. Phone restarted/rebooted.
5. Opened GCash v5.91 successfully!

I can confirm that it works for the latest GCash app v5.91.0:1071.

DISCLAIMER: My phone is unrooted and its bootloader is locked (untouched). So maybe this solution might not work for unlocked and/or rooted phones.
