Graphic Violence: Players engage in first-person combat against bioengineered humanoids and monsters ("zeds") using firearms, sci-fi and flame-based weaponry, explosives, and melee weapons. Combat is extremely intense, with frequent depictions of dismemberment, decapitations, and exploding body parts. Realistic blood effects and slow-motion "Zed Time" sequences amplify the impact of gore.
Blood and Gore: Environments and characters are frequently splattered with copious amounts of blood. Dead enemies often remain in the environment as *******ed corpses, and some weapons cause extreme bodily trauma such as melting, burning, or tearing of flesh.
Strong Language: Dialogue and voice lines contain use of strong profanity spoken by both characters and NPCs during gameplay and narrative sequences.
