PHAccording to someone from GrapheneOS, Android Open Source Project, also known as AOSP, might get closed sourced or discontinue soon. This is followed by Google not releasing the Pixel device trees and some hardware related trees after the Android 16 release.
Android is potentially about to be separated from Google in the US courts, and the new company might close source AOSP.
