The OP seems unwilling or unable to provide the requested info to assist in providing relevant solution. Maybe he or she prefers the "throw suggestions and see what works" type of help, which is the typical flow of conversation going around here.would need a bit more info on your setup, as well as your mikrotik config.
not all mikrotik routers can reliably do 1000Mbps, particularly when it's configured for PPPoE, which taxes the cpu more than IPoE does. pero ang layo ng 150Mbps sa 1000Mbps!
yes, unfortunately. i've seen quite a few of those, which often leads to proposed solutions or suggestions that have no hope of making a difference. The OP seems unwilling or unable to provide the requested info to assist in providing relevant solution. Yes, I tried it using PPPOE router without limitation, the consume bandwidth is around 200mbps. I also thought that vmware is the reason why I can't utilize all the available bandwidth of my internet.VMs are a bit trickier to make sense of for people other than the admin. a bunch of other unknowns come into play:
also, Ping Speed is not a good indicator of bandwidth, as it approximates bandwidth based solely on ICMP. have you tried doing a speedtest from a connected device rather than the routeros vm itself?
- hardware the VM is running on (any possible limitations?)
- resources allocated to the VM
- other VMs possibly demanding resources
another possibility is that you're testing to 'google.com', and the route to whichever google server you end up using could be a factor. can you try this with you RSP/ISP and see what difference you get, if any?
i've never used Ping Speed ever, and on trying it now i'm getting the 'Couldn't start - not allowed by device mode' error. i'll play with this when i find time.
not pfsense tho, curious lang ako why vmware MT can't use this bandwidth but nonetheless wala namang issue sa mga clients.out of curiosity, what bandwidth do you get from pfsense?
