to be fair, eh ginagawa talaga 'yan ng telecom equipment vendors.

for example, maraming case na ready for use sa manufacturing at:
  • same hardware kailangan lang ng specific firmware or fpga
  • minor h/w revision (EOL components have been replaced)
  • minor h/w revision (some bits like the wifi chip)
ang tanong, ano bang dapat ipinagkaiba ng Turbo WiFi? at isa pa, does the unit you have with the green label provide this feature?

actually, NitroQAM is Broadcom's non-standard implementation of 1024QAM.

1024QAM actually requires a very healthy signal. Note that the option says "Up to", which means it's using adaptive modulation. this, in turn, means it can go all the way up to 1024QAM given very good signals, but can drop all the way down to BPSK as the signal fades. In other words, the actual bandwidth/capacity you get may not (never???) be at the maximum depending on signal health.
