May software ba na maka sort out ng best capture at merong copy or move function to a specific folder na gamit nyo pag may isosort kayo na pics with more than 1000 shots? or do you just use explorer and look at each picture till your eyes burn???

medyo mahirap yata 'yang hinahanap mo, kasi ang "best capture" ay karaniwang subjective. minsan, kahit na best ang technical aspects, exposure, focus, etc., di naman ito ang best from an artistic point of view.

do you have 1000 shots from a single shoot that you want to sort? or is this the size of the library you want to collate?

i have lightroom, which is both an editor and dam (digital asset management) software. for me, it's quite easy to go through a set and flag or star the photos i'm interested in. after that you can simply choose to just view the flagged or starred (1 to 5-star) photos without having to move them about. kung minsan kasi, me nahihila pa rin ako dun sa mga hindi first choice (months or years later), so i like the flexibility.

mean photo culling?, you want a software that scan the whole 1000 shots and sort it out the best ones and move it to a new folder? gaya ng sinabi ni nitro7 , medyu subjective kase kung anung best yung tinutukoy mo na i-sort out ng software, Highquality ? lighting and etc. kung yung software is powered siya ng AI siguro possible yun. pero may mga app jan just search image culling software.

There are several software tools available that can efficiently help you sort and organize large collections of pictures and videos. These tools often offer advanced features that go beyond standard file explorers, including automated sorting, best capture identification, and more. Here are a few recommendations:

1. Adobe Lightroom:
- Features: Adobe Lightroom is well-known for its powerful organizational tools. It allows you to tag, rate, and sort images, making it easier to find your best shots. The software also supports batch processing and can automatically group similar photos using AI-based features.
- Automated Features: Lightroom's AI, Adobe Sensei, can help identify the best captures by recognizing faces, locations, and other elements in your photos.
- Difference from File Explorers: Unlike standard file explorers, Lightroom offers extensive editing capabilities and the ability to manage metadata, making it a comprehensive tool for photographers.

2. Google Photos:
- Features: Google Photos offers cloud-based storage and organization, with automatic tagging and categorization based on AI analysis of images.
- Automated Features: It can automatically create albums, suggest the best photos, and even create animations or collages from your images.
- Difference from File Explorers: The cloud-based nature allows for easy access from any device, and its AI-driven automation simplifies the process of finding and organizing files.

3. ACDSee Photo Studio:
- Features: ACDSee provides robust organization tools, including categories, hierarchical keywords, and color labels. It also offers a "Light EQ" feature to enhance photos quickly.
- Automated Features: The software can detect duplicate images and offers batch processing to streamline the workflow.
- Difference from File Explorers: ACDSee is tailored for photographers, offering detailed metadata management and editing tools that go beyond simple file management.

4. Mylio:
- Features: Mylio is designed for organizing and protecting large photo libraries. It can automatically sync images across devices and offers face recognition for easy tagging.
- Automated Features: Its "Smart Tags" feature automatically tags photos based on content, and it can suggest the best shots with its AI-driven insights.
- Difference from File Explorers: Mylio's focus on cross-device syncing and protection make it ideal for users who need to manage large libraries on multiple platforms.

These tools offer a wide range of functionalities that standard file explorers lack, making them ideal for efficiently managing large collections of images and videos. They provide automated features to identify the best captures, support batch operations, and include advanced tagging and metadata management, all of which can significantly enhance your organization process.

Kahit A.I. mag-overheat dyan.
Kung meron man baka magreklamo ka pa dahil baka pangit yon para sayo.

i'd be more concerned about AI dumping photos that i would have otherwise kept. meaning, kailangan rin i-review ang gagawin ni AI - basically, i'd just do it myself (like i do now).

mura na lang ang storage, eh. but the photos you've taken would mostly be once in a lifetime events. dahil di na pwedeng ulitin, i wouldn't want AI to dump any of them. and this is where a DAM that allows you to rate photos come in perfectly.

Yun nga po point ko. Yung software ngayon powered by A.I. na, kaya impossible na yan.
At kayo na rin po sumagot sa sarili nyong tanong dito.
Kaya no choice talaga kundi mag D.I.Y. na lang.

we said the same thing in a different way.
  • you said: it might choose ugly photos
  • i said: it might dump good ones
i'm not endorsing AI to do this for anyone. i don't do that myself. i have 35000 photos in my main catalog and a few thousands more in four other catalogs - flagged and starred them myself. i haven't deleted a single photo, just identified the ones i took / am taking through the rest of my workflow.
😊

Yes pero parehas rin kalalabasan since paano yung good para sayo pero bad para sa A.I.?
And A.I. is just a software powered by hardware.
Kahit pa nga tao pa yan wala rin magagawa dahil same result pa rin yan.

exactly why i don't use AI or anyone else to make the choice for me.
