How to Flash ESP8266 Firmware Using an Android Phone (ESP8266 Loader โ Blynk Uploader)

Hardware:โ ESP8266 Development Board (NodeMCU, Wemos D1 Mini, etc.)
โ USB OTG Adapter (to connect ESP8266 to your phone)
โ USB-to-MicroUSB/Type-C Cable (for ESP8266)
Software:โ ESP8266 Loader (Blynk Uploader) App
Download: ESP8266 Loader (Google Play)โ Firmware Files:
main.bin (for ESP8266 MAIN)
base.bin (for ESP8266 BASE)Take note! Enable USB Debugging
Download & Install ESP8266 Loader (Blynk Uploader) from the Google Play Store.
Open the app and grant USB permissions when prompted.
Plug the USB OTG adapter into your Android phone.
Connect ESP8266 to the OTG adapter using a USB cable.
Ensure ESP8266 is in Flash Mode:- Hold the Flash button
- Press and release the Reset button
- Then release the Flash button
Open ESP8266 Loader and go to Flasher Mode.
Click "Select Bin File" and choose the firmware:- main.bin โ For ESP8266 MAIN
- base.bin โ For ESP8266 BASE
Set the following Flashing Parameters:- Baud Rate: 115200
- Flash Mode: DIO (Dual I/O)
- Erase Flash:
Check "Wipe All Data"
Click "Flash" to begin the process.
The app will display progress logs while flashing.
Wait 1-2 minutes for the process to complete.
Once flashing is successful, disconnect and reconnect the ESP8266.
Restart it by pressing the Reset button or powering it off & on.

ESP8266 Not Detected?โ Try another USB OTG adapter or USB cable.
โ Ensure ESP8266 is properly powered.
โ Try a different ESP Flashing App like ESP8266Flasher.
Now you can flash ESP8266 using just your Android phone โ no PC needed!
