A highly decorated Army soldier who fatally shot himself in a Tesla Cybertruck just before it blew up outside the Trump hotel in Las Vegas left notes saying the New Year’s Day explosion was a stunt to serve as a “wake up call” for the country’s ills, investigators said Friday. Kevin McMahill, sheriff of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, called Livelsberger's use of generative AI in planning the attack a "game changer". "This is the first incident that I'm aware of on US soil where ᑕᕼᗩTGᑭT is utilised to help an individual build a particular device," he said. According to officers, the searches indicate he was looking for information on explosive targets, the speed at which certain rounds of ammunition would travel, and whether fireworks were legal in Arizona.
